As a result of going to the 1983 Longleat Doctor Who celebration, I became interested in the concept of going to Doctor Who-themed conventions. Throughout the late 1980s and early 90s I went to conventions such as Panopticon (several times), Whoniverse '90 and the Telly Con events as well as a Blue Light one.  Andrew O'Day went to many more conventions than I ever did and he took a few photos from early ones. Presented here are a few photos that Andrew took, and it is a hope that he will find more as time goes on, as well as perhaps sharing his experience of the convention circuit.  Tim Harris.
